Our Leadership

Diverse congregation standing and reading from hymn sheets in church

We believe the church is led by qualified men under the headship of Christ, i.e., that Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd and Head of the Church. The church functions under His authority and derives its authority from Him as its final and supreme Head.

Elders

Deacons

Elders (also called overseers or pastors) are qualified men who, under the authority of the Chief Shepherd, lead, teach, and care for the flock. (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Hebrews 13:17; Acts 6:1–6)

Deacons serve God by serving the church and assisting the elders in providing ministry support. We believe that the office of deacon is open to both men and women. (Acts 6:1–7)
